Yo-yo mad!

What do you get when you cross a pair of palazzo pants, a skirt lining, gingham and a few shirt buttons?
Ta-da!

A Christmas yo-yo garland!

This yo-yo malarkey is addictive you know!

I've made a bracelet too and I love it!

Whoops, that one's a bit blurryThat's better!

This lovely lady has been yo-yoing this week tabiboo/.blogspot.com/

You can find lots of links if you'd like to make yo-yo's yourself!

I'm off to do some more!

Have a lovely weekend!

I love making yo-yos but what a fab idea to make a garland from them! Looks lovely on your beautifully colour co-ordinated dresser too :) xx

Hello Rachel~~~

Came via Brenda and what a lovely blog you have!! I LOVE the heart stitchery you made for the canvas bag!! I'd like to try that as all I can do now is sew by hand. Just bought a new machine and am waiting for lessons!! Wish me luck! Maybe I can learn to make the yo yos!!

Have a wonderful evening!!

Thanks for the comment about my decoupage, I used PVA, only because I was in the mood to try it out and that was all I had, but I watered it down quite a bit :) x

loved your comment about teens rolling eyes and " Muuuummmm ! " at the beach hut blog !

Dig them up at 18 ? now there's an idea !!!

I think you're being super kind letting them up at 18! Having a daughter of that age I'd be tempted to keep her underground until at least her mid 20's!!
Love the bracelet...very pretty, x
