It's finished!! Well actually , there are 2 I have finished!
The first one, I made with yarn I have had for years, some of it at least 10 years.
I shall call it Happy bunting as it makes me smile when I look at it!
This photo was taken in my daughter's bedroom, we finished decorating it just before Christmas. She and my son have swapped room as she is at Uni. This room is not very big at all but it does have lots of storage for all her stuff! The bunting won't stay in here, it's a bit too bright but perfect for my little craft room!
See the little lilac cushion on the day bed, I made that with a tray cloth I bought from the boot for 50p I think! I just folded in half and stitched around the edge leaving a gap to stuff it!
Anyway I've drifted off topic now.
The 2nd length of bunting was also made wirh yarn from my stash, a little bit country I think!
Now I'm working on a pretty cotton pastel bunting, I'll show you after the weekend!
Have a good one!

Oooooh loving your bunting! Well done you! And in different colourways too!
Love your cushion too.....all accept it's lilac! ha ha ha!!!! Do you know though, I was getting out an old project to finish, crochet hex's and a bunch of them were purple and lilac! I did struggle to make them but without them, the blanket colours didn't look right. I had to put orange in there too and struggled with that also, but they all work okay together. Not my usual colourways so i'll see how I get on. If it turns out okay I will post about it....if it looks hideous i'll bury it deep under mess!!!!!!!!!!
Have a super weekend!

I love your bunting .. very cute!
Never thought of doing knitted or crocheted bunting, but it really works well. What a great way to use up scraps of yarn.
It all looks lovely Rachel , glad you've got the bug :0)

Love the bunting, looks lovely over the bed
Gorgeous! What is it about bunting? Even the word makes me smile, bunting, bunting, bunting...it's a bit like wobbly. I can't say wobbly without smirking, wobbly, wobbly, wobbly... right off for a lie down in a darkened room now, x
Oh fantastic, there's no stopping you now. I'm furiously knitting too, isn't it great to learn something new? Love the cushion too, yummy!
Very sweet hanging over the bed!!
Lovely bunting - lovely blog! I am your newest follower! xx
Fabulous bunting, I love the pictures! Scarlett x
I "follow" you and thought for sure I'd commented on this, but I guess not. I love this so much!! It's just wonderful. Since I don't know how to knit or crochet (yet), maybe I could make something similar with collected crocheted pot holders or coasters. :) This is just so sweet and "homey," and I love the bold colors. Great work!! :)
Thank you Rachel! I hope your not working too hard!
Hopefully see you soon! xxx
Wahey... Ann Summers! That would have been something... but I definitely have a body made for flowery flannelette rather than PVC, x
