Yesterday I decided to make up some of my Hexie patches that I started on ages ago, you know one of those projects you put to one side for a little while and then totally forget about! I 've got lots of those!
I think this patchwork piece is destined to become a small cushion. In fact I am making it to fit the IKEA Irma cushion pad as its only 35cm x 35cm!
Have a sweet day

Pretty quilts. My first quilt was a hexagon.
So sweet!! This is a gem! I just figured out to do it by machine, so I could actually finish a beauty like this!

What gorgeous colours - they are working really well together. I'm just beginning to use hexies again after using lots of other shapes. My very first quilt was made with hexagons years ago. Your hexie patchwork looks fresh and new!
Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving such a lovely comment.
